Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14
At Centerpointe, we believe that all children are gifts from God, and we count it a great privilege to have the opportunity to guide them along their own personal spiritual journey using a wide variety of activities and worship opportunities. We believe that in this day and age children need Jesus more than ever before. He is the one friend who will never leave them. Our goal is for children to gain the knowledge and understanding of Salvation and Christian living that builds a foundation for the life God has for them. Our Sunday School classes, Children’s Church services, Puppet Shows, Wednesday night Pastor’s Pals Clubs classes, and Children’s Musicals focus on ensuring kids meet Jesus personally. If you have any questions about getting your child involved in any of these activities, feel free to contact us via email or call the church office.

Children's Musicals & Workshops
The Children’s Music department performs two children’s musicals annually: a Summer Musical and a Christmas Musical. The Summer Musical is a weeklong VBS style workshop with exciting Bible lessons, crafts, games, drama, choir, and snacks. The Christmas Musical and workshops follow the same fun format but are held on Saturdays in November. Keep scrolling to watch some of our past performances!
Jennifer Tidrick grew up in the middle Tennessee area and moved to Murfreesboro in 1983. She began teaching Sunday School that Summer where she found Children’s Ministry to be the most exciting section of “His Harvest field”…..and so never stopped. She now has 32 years’ experience teaching Sunday School and Children’s Church, loving and leading children to a personal relationship with Jesus.
She enjoys reading, vacationing in the Smokies, playing the piano, and pampering her rose bushes. In her “spare” time she works as a Computer Systems Manager IT Specialist for the Veterans Administration. Her husband, Charles, and daughter, Megan, are the best….encouraging her and always lending a hand when needed.
