One of the best ways to grow in your relationship with Christ and develop connections with others is to Serve in the church. There are many opportunities & areas to get involved. Check out a list of Serve Team opportunities below!

Campus Support & Facilities Team

  • Safety Team
    • The Safety Team creates a safe and secure space for everyone at Centerpointe and helps to secure a distraction-free worship environment.
      • Requires background check
  • Usher Team
    • The Usher Team provides a positive worship experience by assisting guests with seating and facilitating tithes/offerings.
  • Lock-Up Team
    • The Lock-Up Team stays after service and secures the campus by turning off lights and locking the doors.
  • Vehicle Maintenance  Team
    • The Vehicle Maintenance Team assists the Operations Pastor with cleaning & maintenance of the church vans and buses.
  • Weekly Cleaning Team (Tuesdays)
    • The Weekly Cleaning Team cleans the church following each Sunday service. This important team helps Centerpointe look clean and ready for MidWeek Service.

Discipleship Team

  • Bible Study Team
    • The Bible Study Team teaches Bible Studies to guests.
  • Baptism Team
    • The Baptism Team assists the pastoral staff by preparing changing rooms for those getting baptized. They are responsible for keeping the baptistry clean and assisting with all baptisms.

Events Team

  • Set Up/Take Down Team
    • The Set Up/Take Down Team helps the Events Coordinator transform spaces for Centerpointe events and services.
  • Decorating Team
    • The Decorating Team helps the Events Coordinator by designing and placing decor for all Centerpointe events.

First Impressions Team

  • Coffee Team
    • This fun-loving team operates the coffee shop on Sundays and Wednesdays, serving coffee and connecting with guests.
  • Greeter Team
    • The Greeter Team creates a positive first impression by welcoming, greeting, and encouraging each guest as they enter and exit Centerpointe.
  • The Pointe Team
    • The Pointe Team helps guests identify their next steps by providing resources and information about campuses, services, Connect Groups, Next Steps, conferences, and special events. This team is also responsible for selling Centerpointe merchandise.
  • Welcome Team
    • The Welcome Team  uses the gift of hospitality to greet and engage guests in the lobby. This team gives guests information about where to go next and gives all of our first time guests a welcome gift.
  • Parking Team
    • The Parking Team gives guests a positive first and last impression as they arrive and exit by providing clear directions for a safe and efficient parking experience.

Kids Team

All Kids Team serving positions require:
  • Background check
  • 6 month waiting period
  • Sunday Kids Team
    • The Sunday Kids Team invests in the lives of children who are in Pre-K through 5th grade by giving them the opportunity to discover and develop a passion for God through Bible teaching, worship, games and Kids Church.
  • Midweek Kids Team
    • The Midweek Kids Team invests in the lives of children who are in Pre-K through 5th grade by giving them the opportunity to discover and develop a passion for God through Bible teaching, worship, games and Kids Power Hour on Wednesdays.
      • Does not Serve on the 5th Wednesday
  • Outreach Kids Team
    • The Outreach Kids Team hosts a special kids church in community neighborhoods one Saturday a month. They also provide bus access to church for Sunday & Wednesday Services.
  • Nursery Team
    • The Nursery Team serves children 6 weeks through 2 Years and offers them the opportunity to hear the life-giving message of Jesus through Bible stores, worship, prayer, and hands-on activities.
  • Check-In Team
    • The Kids Check-In Team creates a welcoming environment and assists families with checking in, dropping off, and picking up children in our elementary and nursery/preschool areas.

Outreach Team

  • Community Outreach Team
    • The Outreach Team helps meet the practical and spiritual needs of our communities by leading and supporting outreach Initiatives in the Middle Tennessee area.

South Campus Team

South Campus is located at Barfield Elementary School on Thursdays at 7pm. They set up and take down church every week starting at 6pm.
  • Worship Team
    • The Worship Team facilitates a powerful, on-stage worship experience by utilizing the skills of vocalists and musicians.
      • **All stage positions have specific requirements. If you would like to join a stage specific Serve Team, the team leader will reach out to you with details after signing up.
  • Production Team
    • The Production Team facilitates a powerful, distraction-free worship experience through the use of video technology, and audio engineering.
  • CreativeTeam
    • The Creative Team captures moments on campus through pictures and video to highlight on social media what God is doing at Centerpointe South.
  • Trailer Transport Team
    • The Trailer Transport Team brings the trailer containing all of the church equipment. They arrive early and assist in the set up and take down of the South Campus service.
      • Requires personal vehicle with towing capabilities.
  • Welcome Team
    • The Welcome Team  uses the gift of hospitality to greet and engage guests in the lobby. 
  • Set Up/Take Down Team
    • The Set Up/Take Down Team transforms an elementary school cafeteria into a worship service. They help set up chairs, music equipment and move tables. 

Worship and Arts Team

  • Worship Team
    • The Worship Team facilitates a powerful, on-stage worship experience by utilizing the skills of vocalists and musicians.
      • **All stage positions have specific requirements. If you would like to join a stage specific Serve Team, the team leader will reach out to you with details after signing up.
  • Production Team
    • The Production Team facilitates a powerful, distraction-free worship experience through the use of lighting, video technology, and audio engineering.
  • CreativeTeam
    • The Creative Team captures moments on campus through pictures and video to highlight on social media what God is doing at Centerpointe.
