Legacy is Formed at the Table

What is actually forming our families? That question sits at the heart of this powerful message on building a lasting legacy. We live in a world where the home is under constant pressure, and if we are not intentionally shaping our families around the Word of God, something else will do it for us. Drawing from Psalm 78:5-6, where God commands one generation to teach the next so that faith is passed down like a living flame, this message reminds us that a godly legacy is never accidental. It is built through ordinary, faithful decisions made day after day. We explore four battlegrounds every family faces: the battle for our time, our identity, our thinking, and our attention. Each of these arenas is being contested, and the enemy does not announce himself when he walks through the door. He simply becomes part of the atmosphere. The call here is not to perfection but to intentionality. A full calendar does not mean a full life, and a family can be involved in everything while being deeply connected to nothing. Romans 12:2 anchors us with the truth that transformation happens when God's Word becomes louder than the voices around us. If we want to pass on something worth inheriting, we have to start by asking honestly who or what is currently doing the forming.
