Centerpointe VBS

Camp firelight

Camp Firelight VBS invites children of all ages to put our trust in God in every situation, including times when we might be afraid. Our key verse, Psalm 56:3 reminds us that we can trust God no matter what challenges we face in life.

“Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in You.”
Psalm 56:3

Safety is our priority
You can be assured that we will take precautions to make sure your children are in a safe and loving environment.  Our staff have undergone background checks and we will have a secure check-in/check-out system in place.
What age group is VBS for?
VBS is for children ages 3 (potty trained) up through 5th grade.
How can I listen to the VBS music?
After registration, you will be sent a link to a link to a playlist that you will be able to access for free.
Is there a cost for VBS?
VBS is FREE.  T-shirts are optional and are $5.  You can pre-order a shirt with your registration or you can purchase one at the Family Fun Kick-Off Night.
What is the dress code for VBS?
VBS t-shirts may be worn every night if your child chooses.  Comfortable clothes and shoes are a must…something you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
We’re pre-registered. What do we do now?
If you pre-registered, you’re all set. Our Worship Rally begins at 6:00pm, but the doors will open as early as 5:45pm. When you get here, simply…

  1. Come in the Worship Center doors, go to Check-in Kiosk that coordinates with your last name.  A volunteer will check your child in.  You will receive 2 tags:  Your child’s name tag (place on child’s back) and a matching parent pickup tag with matching security numbers.  YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW THIS TAG TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD!  (You will repeat this check-in process and receive new tags each evening.)  Take a picture of your security tag with your phone as a backup if it gets lost.
  2. A Crew leader will escort your child into the Chapel for our Worship Rally.
  3. If someone different will be picking up your child you will need to give them the security pick-up tag, or you can take a picture of it with your phone and send it to that person. We will look at their phone to confirm that their numbers match your child’s.
We didn’t register. Is it too late?
No, it’s definitely not too late! You can register in person the evening of Sunday, July 21 at our Family Fun Kick-Off Party.
What if my child needs a different snack due to allergies or other medical reasons?
Parents can prepare a simple snack that their child can safely enjoy during their scheduled snack period. Parents will need to package their alternative snack with the child’s full name clearly labeled on the outside of the container. Parents will need to give the labeled snack to an ADULT CREW MEMBER at Check-in each evening.
How does dismissal work?  When and where do I pick up my child?
Dismissal begins at 9:00pm. Children will remain with their Crew Members in the Chapel. Park your car and bring your security pick-up tag inside to the Worship Center. A CREW MEMBER will escort your child through Food Truck Park to be picked up. (Guardians MUST present their security pick-up tag before their child will be released.)
What do I do if I lost my security pick-up tag?
If you forget or loose your security pick-up tag, go to a Check-in Kiosk located inside in the Worship Center.  Please be prepared to show your driver’s license or another form of ID.
What do I do if I need to pick up my child early from VBS?
If you need to pick up your child early, you will need to arrive at the Check-in Kiosk in the Worship Center Foyer BEFORE 8:45pm. After you show your security pick-up tag at the Kiosk, someone will get your child and bring him/her to you. If you arrive after 8:45pm, you will need to wait in the Worship Center Foyer until 9:00pm when the children are dismissed.

NOTE:  For the safety and security of all children, NO adults will be allowed past the Check-in Kiosks in the Worship Center Foyer.
